Blog, Email & Web icons

Have you ever wondered why certain posts have a photograph or little icon beside the comment or user name? It’s something simple called an “avatar”. When these things first started you had to upload a photo for each website or forum that you posted to. Not anymore! There exists a free service that places your Globally Recognised Avatar (or “Gravatar” for short) on any compatible website or blog. All you need to do is visit GRAVATAR.COM , type in your email address, respond to the email they send you, choose a username and phtograph from your computer, phone or website and that’s it! Then, anytime you make a comment on a compatible Blog (such as ours for example), your selected photo will appear too and be automatically updated on ALL your posts and websites whenever you decide to change the photo.
