Yes, they should remove confirmed copyright violations in a timely manner, but shutting them down completely is unwarranted and, frankly, un-American. Not cool. The sculpture is in limestone and it represents humanity with no distinction between race, sex, religion or political ideology. The holes in the stone represent the fractures in human society and the dominating of one another to their own injury. The swallows are representing the hope for a better future. The general feedback from the town hall and the people of Almachar was good and many commented that the sculpture gives a sense of peace and healing of past injury. That was my aim. So I am extremely happy and Sunday was a lovely day in Almachar. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this commission for the town hall of Almachar.
